Privacy Policy
What this website collects, what it doesn’t, and what we do with anything you send us.
Last updated 4 August 2026
The short version
This website does not require an account, does not sell anything directly, and does not run advertising or third-party tracking. The only personal information we hold is what you choose to send us.
Information you give us
If you email us — whether directly or through the contact form, which opens a message in your own mail application — we receive whatever you write, including your name and email address. We use it to answer you, and we keep the correspondence only for as long as it is useful.
The newsletter sign-up on this site is currently interface only. No mailing-list provider is connected, and nothing entered into it is transmitted or stored. If that changes, this page will be updated before any address is collected.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting provider records standard server information as part of delivering the site — such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. This is used for security and to keep the site running, and it is not combined with anything else to build a profile of you.
Cookies
This site sets no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. If we ever add analytics, it will be a privacy-respecting service and this page will say so.
Sharing
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. We share it only where it is genuinely necessary — for example with our hosting provider as part of serving the site, or where we are required to by law.
Links to other sites
Where the site links to a retailer or another external site, that site has its own privacy practices, which we do not control. We would encourage you to read them.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to us and we will do it.
- Access — request a copy of what we hold
- Correction — have inaccurate information fixed
- Deletion — have your correspondence removed
Children's privacy
Our books are made for adults, and this site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new date at the top. Material changes will be described plainly rather than buried.
